Re: JS900

it's another one that i'd forgot existed up until i read this thread. They were a fine machine with their p90's. i don't actually think i've ever seen one in the flesh!

Re: JS900

I totally prefer my JS900 to any 1000 (cept maybe the new 1200 red) I like the fact that the highpass filter is always on (I'd never have it off and the push/pull knobs get in the way of the whammy bar!) plus the chrome and original edge just make it perfection.

Re: JS900

I think it does have the multi radius neck - it sounds odd considering I've owned it for 7 years or so but its never ocurred to me to check ..... done it !
Multi radius it is.

Re: JS900

The JS900 also doesn't have the multi-radius neck doesn't it?

You can find JSs for so cheap now too.

Re: JS900

Wow, that's one of the better Faye swirls I've seen. That looks great!

Re: JS900

Sure is - the last customer job as I believe he's stopped doing it now. I guess not enough work to make it worthwhile?
Pity because he does do a really nice job and I know its a whole matter of personal taste etc but I prefered Richards swirls to Hercs and a lot of the others due the way he created faded hues blending into each other, just lucky to own a couple of them really...

Re: JS900

I'd buy a JS900 over a JS1000BP because I think that the JS's look much better with the chrome hardware. Nice guitar btw probot

Re: JS900

Didn't mean to demean your guitar if that's how it came across - that really is a a superb looking guitar

I was just genuinely interested in why you or anyone would buy a 900 over a 1000.
