I had 2 new edge pro equipped guitars last year with tottaly bungholed curved knives.

It can't hurt filing, but if it's not rubbing on the body, it's probably ok as it is.

I can't answer for them, but I'd speculate at that point they want you to replace the trem. You can always try, maybe it['s just an oversight. But usually if the part is sold they have it listed in the parts breakdown.

do they do that purely for selling more trem units??? or guitars all together?

Oh, they're "replaceable", you just can't buy a replacement.

i dont get it why the hell would you engineer a trem system to have knife edges that ware with no means of replacement????
