Re: RG2610E Finished ! (at last!!)

Still my favorite guitar LOL though my Gibson SG with seymour duncan is a lovely instrument, my RG2610E ****ing eats it for lunch.

I have yet to find a more metal looking instrument than the 2610.

my RG2570E prestige is really sick looking in vital gold but the damn HSH config may not be to my liking as I CONSTANTLY pick the damn middle pick-up as I'm trying to play lead guitar.

Wonderful instruments.

Nothing wrong with a tasty necro-bump! It's the 3-year old classified bumps that get old...

sorry guys I'm new here and not schooled on proper forum posting etiquette LOL.

and I really love this guitar in particular... so simple, so sexy, yet MASSIVE metal tones. Plug and play!

Well...ozzeh happened to dig up TWO 3-year-old threads about the same guitar, in which 4-5 people posted like it was a new thread.

Wow! I think I'd go mental if I didn't have a volume pot.
Nice guitar, though.

Id love to get the volume pot hole covered up , if anyone has any ideas on how to do it ?
Put a kill switch in place of the volume knob... a black on/off toggle will do very nicely

Re: RG2610E Finished ! (at last!!)

I own one of these with an emg 81 in the bridge and I dream about playing this guitar when I go to sleep at night. I've owned 10 guitars (3 gibsons) and NONE of them compare to my rg2610 prestige. I will never part with this guitar.

As a side note, to me, only having a bridge pick-up requires a fair amount of skill on the part of the guitarist due to having to have to play rhythm and lead from the emg 81. It makes technique that much more important.

Best. Metal. Guitar. EVER??
