nope, legacy (yes, i know). wait was 2 months on the dot. communication was prompt on every inquery from '?' before the order to order being shipped. i can say after seeing all the chaos more than a year ago with this vendor...he has really really turn things around. i'm not the only one that'll tell you that.
the only people i know that can build quality parts are in cranston RI, noll music or noll guitar shop. but there old schoolers...nitro only on their finishes, ect... prices are high too.

My thoughts are against copying some other guy's signature model when youre going about making a custom build. Why not try for something more unique, something your own? But if a BFP replica is what ya want, then best of luck man. Hope it turns out well for ya.

Re: jem bfp replica

my parts have just shipped so i dont expect them until sometime next week. going to the graphic designer tomorrow morning to see if they'll do the printouts for the guitar. if they can i'll most likely go this route.
funny how things work out. i played a friends beater guitar for six months when i started playing and told myself if i'm still into playing in six months. i'll buy a nice guitar. six months after that i bought a 91 bfp. about a year an a half later i dumpt the guitar because of those infamous cracks at the neck joint (being 17 i just freaked out).
what i'm definatelly gonna do and i'm sure this place has the technology to do is make the color of the flowers closer to that of the 1991 catalog, that darker blue/purplish tint.
guess thats all i really needed to hear

jem bfp replica

got new jem body and neck on the way from luither. considering a bfp finish for the guitar. graphic designer can whip up pattern/material for body and neck. what are you thoughts about this.
