Yeah, I guess I did use the word Fake, but I wasn't talking about the guitar itself, big difference.

But seriously though, with inlays like that, damn, that must have been a Friday.

I really hate these threads...dozens chiming in "it's getting harder to tell them apart", " fakes are getting better" "pickguard looks wrong" "blah, blah"...

they're not; fakes are fake, real is real. People are just easy to scam.

Your Chinadar was way off, 30posts back. Never seen a winged logo?
I have seen many winged logos, just that a lot of the Chibanez's have been using it for a long time as part of the scam, I didn't know Jem's had them for a short time before going to the J-team logo. If you read all my posts you would see I didn't use the word "fake" even once, just pointed out some possible inconsistencies. I would never jump to conclusions with only a few pics, like a lot of people did here.

But seriously though, with inlays like that, damn, that must have been a Friday, last guitar of the day and really have to pee and can't wait to go home and see what the girlfriend bought at Victoria Secret guitar, or a first guitar of a Monday right after a 2 day bender and still feeling the effects of when I got my zipper caught in my u-know-what because I was in a rush to get to work cause I thought I was late guitar.

Re: HELP please: FAKE or not?

it seem like an ibanez for me, maybe these parts were put toghether by someone, its not an original jem though.
and believe me, a golden lo pro can end much more worn and my golden head machines are almost chrome now, theyre from 1993

Exactly, anyone who claims the pics are of a fake Jem should have their licence to Jem revoked.

Re: HELP please: FAKE or not?

I would not buy a guitar with that kind of inlay errors. I checked my own 7vwh again and the inlay is A LOT better.
It may be real, but may also be one of those that Hoshino sells off in Japan, because it failed QA Testing. A pal of mine brought such a QA failed UV with him from Japan. Was a real bargain but his pyramids look like crap and it had a huge ding on the back of the body.

Re: HELP please: FAKE or not?

I think it's real. I owned a 7vwh before and I seem to remember the inlay wasnt quite Prs standard!
If I was a potential buyer I wouldnt go for it though because there is too much uncertainty
over it.
If it is a fake there has been a massive jump from the previous fakes
