I was gonna get a tremel-no, and basically put it in dive only mode. I'm not really aggressive with the trem, so I figured it might make life easier... not a huge deal.

Locking tuners coupled with a floyd-style trem just aren't strong enough to stay in tune after aggressive whammy use. Unless you lock the bridge down as Ayrton said, you won't be happy with the results.

Do you plan to block the tremolo?

I was wondering if anyone here has replaced the tuners on their jem with locking tuners, and replaced the locking nut with a regular one...

I'm thinking about doing it, and just wanted to get some input before I try and epically fail.
