Re: Ibanez Bass

Ibanez Basses between 1987 and 1991 are fantastic. The RB series are, as said above, the RG of basses with very similar styling. The Sabre basses were fabulous (S series of the bass), and the earlier SDGR (Soundgears) are my personal favourite. I also had a Roadbass 808 which was the "Radius" bass with the pointy headstock before SDGR's took over. You really could poke someone's eye out with the RB707 bass tho!

Talking of basses... I've got a strange urge to get my current 1988 SR05 (5 string soundgear) swirled... body, neck and headstock and get Pyramids inlays too... would be funky.

Re: Ibanez Bass

I've got a 1987 RB707 which is pretty much the bass equivalent of an RG560 /570.

I know very little more than that about basses since I'm a guitar player.

What could you say the equivalent to the RG550, would be for Ibanez Basses? I am trying to get a feel for the bass models. Can someone go through the types of basses?
