no, that's the commemerative jcustom ibanez makes for various music shops in japan.
in that case, its ikebe-gakki. they have other colors too!

My all original 1989 JEM 77FP with nicks, dents, and scratches, over anything, anywhere, anytime, as a playable piece. This one has some of that rare magic I was talking about...

No.

No.

No experience with any model Ibanez newer than '92 (as in owning over a long time).

im referring to 08/09 models, if you were wondering. the 8470 in particular.
thanks all!
J-Custom. The only Jems I ever would consider buying are all made in the 80's.

If you are seriously considering a Jem, you should also consider any RG. In most cases an RG will be a better choice, especially when bought new.

Re: JEM vs Jcustom

well the monkey grip has nothing to do with the trem, its the handle
I think that teh lionīs claw did give more pull up range but only with the original edge since the lock screws were very large

Re: JEM vs Jcustom

interesting, i always thought the monkey grip had to do with pullup because ibanez always advertises it as,

'monkey grip for extended pullup range'

oh well, its bogus.
