Re: s520 & s470dxqm

I'm not a big quilted maple fan and that puts me off the 470 but the 520 seems great to me, Unless I change my mind aagain I'll have it in a month. I just wish therre was some cheaper prestiges instead of the $2000 and up prices.

Re: s520 & s470dxqm

I have an S520 WNF, it has an edge Trem. I believe it was the last "standard" S model that was MIJ. I own several Ibby's, including 3 prestige, The S 520 with the wizard I is my favorite playing guitar. They show up on e-bay every now and then, Nothing against Korean Models, but I favor MIJ Guitars. Check one out.

Re: s520 & s470dxqm

Well the bridge has been around for 6 some years now. If there were serious problems with it I'm sure they would be common knowledge by now. Well maybe not common but on this site I'm sure it would be.

The only S470 I've ever played was absolutely garbage. Completely terrible. Even the finishing was rough(up by the headstock). However, I'm about 100% sure that was just that guitar as the 320 we currently have in our shop plays great.

s520 & s470dxqm

Anyone got any positive views on the s520 and s470dxqm guitars, I've played the s520 and it was a perfect felling to play but I wanted to know whether there are any long term problems with the zr trem.
