Looks like the same brand Les Claypool uses. Carl Thompson.

How about Jerry's Tiger

One of the JCF guys owns that now (or there were two, and he owns one). It is actually two guitars that snap together.

EDIT: Nope, I'm wrong, one of the JCF guys owned 2 of his doublenecks.

I don't think Dhani Harrison will be giving that guitar up any time soon, seeing as he still plays it...lol

Re: Which Famous Guitar??

Gilmour's black strat (when it had the maple custom shop neck), the one that's been abused.

I love 0001, but I've got a squier JV 0001 replica so I'm OK on that front.

I also would like Alexi Laiho's Wildchild guitar, I guess I have a thing for stolen guitars.

I think I'd like Richie Kotzen's old 'horror comic' RG.

Re: Which Famous Guitar??

Jimi Hendrix's Woodstock Strat, the live at Monterey Strat that was torched in the very well known picture. Any one of Les Paul's original prototypes, or maybe SN 0001 Gibson Les Paul.

Yeah, I would totally seal it in a glass case filled with argon and shroud the whole case in thick curtains when not being viewed. Or maybe like Indy said, "it belongs in a museum!"
Nothing you could do to it could hurt it's past. If you DID actually own this guitar, you could play it every day, all the time, and never hurt its value

Yes it would

Come to think of it, only one of the '58-'60 bursts were actually lefty, and Paul McCartney owns that one. That guitar might be a good choice
