Re: Question about hardtail quality 7s

And here is my happy medium thought. I'm sure people know what a Tremol-No is. I shouldn't be a problem for Ibanez to engineer something similar so that players finally have a choice whether to use the trem or go hardtail.

Re: Question about hardtail quality 7s

Well yeah but maybe it is time for them to reconsider the market needs - times change, interests change etc. As somebody here put it so nicely that a company that was once on the forefront of electric guitar manufacturing now offers you four different shades of black. It was about the finishes but you get the point. It's kind of funny that they have a 8-string with a fixed bridge but no 7s. If somebody knows the mail address of Hoshino Gakki I would gladly take this matter up with them

I'm with you, but I think it all boils down to what the market in each area demands.

Question about hardtail quality 7s

I was wondering why does Ibanez make hardtail Prestige 7 string guitars exclusively for Japan, i.e. the RG1527-1 and HRG7 (violin flat finish is killer!!).
I find this kind of marketing strategy a bit disappointing, because I bet there are other players who would also love a quality 7 without a trem. Basically the only option you have is to look for a used rg7621. If someone can clear this matter up for me it would be appreciated. Thanks
