Re: RG350MYE neck/bridge fit question That's what I thought. I was under the impression most MII and MIJ RG's would fit almost any MIJ AANJ Prestige neck. The exception of course being S-Series necks; fitting only S-series, and Jem's which are only Jem fitted...someone else mentioned MIK fitted guitars which may have slightly bulkier heels on the actual neck (not the body...) But I have never dissected a MIK guitar, just played them. I figured if anything, a MIJ prestige neck might sit a little lower in the cavity than a MII and might take a small spacer if anything...but that may be it. My PGM301 and MII 350DX have identical bolt holes (but the 350DX's neck top comes over higher than the PGM's...) I've also never put my PGM neck on my 350DX... |

I've got my RG2020x here next to my son's brand new RG350DX. Aside from some minor shaping, the bolt holes appear as though they'd line up perfectly. I'm not in the mood to pull a neck swap in the interest of proving myself wrong, so your mileage may vary. I'll just say that it seems promising that a prestige neck swap is doable. ~d~ |
