Based on the serial number on it, it's a 1989 RG750 made in Japan.
The paint is stripped and the guitar has some sort of pattern burnt into it so there shouldn't be any issues with refinishing it seeing as it's not sanden in. The logo is missing too... so considering all this- how much cash would you give for it? I understand that it's also PG's favorite RG?

If it's authentic I'd say somewhere between $400.00 - $550.00. If everything is in good condition I'd personally leave the body as is, I think it looks really cool.

Agreed. I like the finish too, different but pretty cool looking.

If all is well with the guitar I'd certainly buy it. I love 750's.

Anything particular to check for? Besides cracks at the neck pocket, trem-wear, fret-wear.etc.?

Cracks at the neck pocket is ok as long as it's only in the paint, often is with the old ones. Look for crack at the looking nut. Did see it at blocket...cool finish i have to say. Men är så många guror till salu att ja tror den kommer va kvar hela juli och säkert en bit in i augusti. Pruta på den säger ja...och ha is i magen, but if the money burns in your pocket....then shoot;)

Just bought it! This guitar is AMAZING!
Feels and sounds wayy better than my RG1xxv. The pickups sound better to me and the neck feels like carved for my hands :P
NGD thread with pics coming up!

Wow man, that's amazingly cool!!! I love it as it is!

I'm not surprised that you like it better than your 1xxv. The 7xx's are (IMO) the best guitars Ibanez ever made apart from most of the J-customs.

Yeah, that guitar has been around on blocket for a while now, still think it was to much money for a stripped RG. Hope you will enjoy it.

Happy NGD!

That finish is great. Put it on a RG750 and it's even better. Congrats!
