Help to indentify

Can get this cheap. Only heard on the first phonecall that the serialnumber is
F93396. Could it be a 1989 540r ?

Re: Help to indentify

serial # F93396 would suggest to me that it is a '93 540R. The Ibanez wiki says they made those until '94. how cheap? If it's not too beat up then I would buy it cuz anything with a F serial number going for a good deal always gives me GAS ;o)

1989 540S. It's not a Radius (540R), as indicated by the shape and input jack on the front.

Well i got it.:p 1989 540s. Took today off from work and did a lot of cleaning and new strings. Took the tremolo apart and gave it a treatment with wd40 and toothbrush. The fretboard was so dirty that i cleaned it tree times with lemon oil and some rags. Beginning to look like something. Tonight i gonna set it up and do some soundcheck. Link to picture:
