trussrod agjustment RG470
Recently got an RG470, it's a 2000 model, what I wanna know is what's the best way to adjust the trussrod ?

is it safe/possible to just loosen the strings at the headstock to allow access for a wrench (keeping the nut locked)
or do you need to take the strings off completely between each adjustment ?

No, you need string tension while you adjust the truss rod. If you have to loosen the g and d to make a turn, you'll have to, or better yet loosen the locking nut and use the trem to get some slack! Honestly I have only ever loosened the middle strings and adjusted. You certainly don't want to take the strings off...
