In the words of the guys from WAYNE'S WORLD:
SCHWANG! :P |
DUH! Had I seen two post above I would've kept my fingers shut!
|
Man! That's gorgeous! (But I'd take a 10th over it anyday, sorry!)
I actually wondered about that combination (a blue multi) a long time ago, after seeing my first GMCs. So, now the questions: 1: How many shades are in that swirl? and 2: What shades would those be? It looks like white, black and various blue shades in between. More details, please! |

btw, in regards to that swirl: :wag: :wag: :wag: :wag: :wag: :wag: :wag: :wag: :wag: :wag: :wag: |
Thanks for all the great comments guys!
Close up pics will appear next week when I am back in England. I land in London next week 8th Jan. Cost break down will also be posted then when I can check properly at home! The Converse are standard "Chuck Taylor's" (bought in Boston btw) that I painted myself with a design borrowed from EVH! BTW his also have a couple of black lines as well as the white. Swirl details White is the base coat that the swirl goes on. I asked Darren for (and sent him the colours): Very dark blue Medium darkness blue Another blue Pastel very light blue no black! I think Darren may have added another so there are five blues in there. The guitar has no serial number (natch) and I forgot to mention the hardware is cosmo black (new from Ibanez UK). Who is Jeff Spicoli? Thanks again for the great comments everybody :) Did I mention the body is mahogany? ;) best wishes and happy new year Simon in Oz |
Those have to be the cheesiest grins I've seen in a while.
But who can blame you ? Nice guit dude, I look forward to seeing it sometime soon. |
Rent "Fast Times at Ridgemont High", an 80's teen-type summer flick. Jeff Spicoli is the penultimate surfer/burnout - played by Sean Penn.

Congrats on the new axe, mate !
And happy new year, I hope the hangover is not too serious : repeat after me : EADGBE. I hope you still can play ! I have to say that I'm quite impressed by this swirl, definitely one of the nicest I've ever seen... (and yes, the shoes are impressive too !) If you have a little time, go and check the "other guitars" forum, I have a new baby too ! I hope we'll meet again soon, so that we can see the guitars "in the flesh" (one of the expressions I've learned at Jemfest UK...) See you soon, and have a nice trip back ! (and please, don't let them put this guitar far from you during the flight !!!) |
Love the blue, really nice.
|
