I'm almost 100% positive soundgear basses didn't come out until the 90's. They definitely havent been around since 1987. Also, there are no 20th models in this years lineup.

Thanks Act of God, but there are pictures of a 20th anniversary Soundgear on the international sites of Ibanez. I was just wondering if those are coming here.

Ibanez.com, then chose country, Italy or UK. It is a picture of 2 20th basses a 4 and 5 string. The picture is at the NAMM2007 ICON.

Quote from the soundgear prestige section of the U.S. site:

"2007 marks a major milestone: The 20th Anniversary of the revolutionary Soundgear bass."

But They don't list any 20th anniversary models.

The same NAMM page on the Japanese site says those are just prototypes and not going to be for sale yet.

Thanks folks. I guess Ibanez will wait till SummerNamm to release them, seeing that they usually do limited prestige basses during SummerNamm. I just hope and pray it is not another E carved back series(sr1000E***). I like the full bodied SR's. I cannot get comfortable with the E cut.
