Then polish the pyramids after all the marker and finish is off.

I'd like to put a decal on, then stain the headstock and remove the decal.
This would leave the raw wood as the logo.
I need to do some samples on some junk wood to see how it comes out.

Did you make the neck it's going on?

If it's a real Ibanez neck, you may not need to grind it down.
