Re: Will the DiMarzio EP1111 fit my all-original JPM?

I would be guessing that they are essentially the same part. I have one of these switches. What is the diameter of the shaft on yours? Eyeballing mine, it's about 10mm.

Re: Guitar volume control with detent?

That's an interesting idea. I may have to play around with that.

Re: Guitar volume control with detent?

That would be an interesting feature, especially if you could adjust where it's positioned to suit your sound. It could even be used for switching between a rhythm sound, and rolling up to ten for...

Re: Mad Hatter Terminator kit?

Do you have pictures of the problem? Is it protruding from the cavity, so you can't get the cover on?

Re: Ibanez FR365 Pickups change

I'm a bit confused, are you saying that you bought a tone zone as the neck pickup, or are you looking to pair a neck pickup with the tone zone in the bridge?

If the Tone Zone is in the bridge...

In all seriousness, you're probably best off talking to your local Ibanez dealer, and asking if they can order something in. Or simple google search...

Re: Should I upgrade my Trem? (Edge Zero II) If so, why?

There's nothing inherently wrong with the Edge Zero II. Many have their personal choices, but the build and ability to stay in tune with the EZII would benchmark well against the other highly...

Re: Swapping RG necks?

I had the same thought with my strat at first too, but realised they had to fit, otherwise, how would Gotoh sell them?

Re: Swapping RG necks?

So you got the staggered ones? They're great, I have a set of the self-locking staggered Gotohs on one of my strats. No need for string trees with them.

That is a brilliant looking guitar too :)

Re: Let's talk pickups and types of wood...

I'd suggest that the Duncan Custom offers a fair bit of grit and snarl in a basswood RG

Re: Lo TRS II -> Gotoh GE1996T block height

At any rate you can always leave the back cavity cover off anyway. But I thought the block length was 32mm

Re: Swapping RG necks?

As long as the heal widths and the neck screw holes are good it'll be an easy and reversible swap. If you're going to use the locking nut you'd probably be best using the lock blocks, since travel...

Re: My new RG560 questions and pics

Use some proper wood glue like titebond to set the crack. CA will not be strong enough.

And with the misalignment, try loosening the neck screws, shift the neck slightly until the strings have...

Re: Which tremolo in my 760...and my 77 BFP

Your Jem comes with an Edge Zero II trem, so the Edge bar wont fit

Re: Korea made jem with F serial number?

I believe they provided a link with all the information, so I don't know why you're needing to be rude there.

Re: Cracked wizard 2, repair recommendations

I'm sure it will be repairable. I've cracked my 1995 Wizard neck twice over the years. It doesn't look pretty at the back now, with four dowels helping pin it together, but it plays find and is...

Re: Strat style with Wizard neck?

Or go to Warmoth and spec a "Wizard" neck. Their Wizard profile if close to an Ibanez profile. you can always sell the stock neck and get at least most of your money back on the Warmoth cost.

Re: 1998 Ibanez RG470

Maybe there was a neck issue before the guitar reached the stores then. Everything else points to MIJ. Only reason I suggest this is because I have a 95 MIK RG470, which has all the MIK appointments,...

Re: 1998 Ibanez RG470

It's not a Korean made Ibanez. The 470 production moved back to Japan in 1996 or 1997 from memory. They came with the V series pickups, as you'ev found, the LO-TRS, which is a perfectly serviceable...

Re: RG470 Tremolo

You may need to do a little sanding/dremel work. I did on my 1995 RG470

Re: RG470 Tremolo

someone must have replaced the bridge at some point, if it's definitely an RG470
