Gibson Sg pickup spacing
Ok, this isn't really Jem related, but I'll give it a try.
A few years ago I bought a Gibson Sg Special. It figured that the bridge pickup wasn't hot enough so I replaced it with a Seymour Duncan...

I'd recommend a 50 watt head, loud enough for stage use, and cheaper retubing, and faster saturation. The Soldano Hot rod 50 + head is excellent.

Yes, the tone on those records is exactly what I've been looking for. That, and the need for a decent tube amp. I'm definately going to try this amp.

Well it's a modern high gain sound with lots of clarity, not like the downtuned Korn sound, but also not like the Schred sound, it's basically about feedback and dynamics, if that means anything :)...

Mike Mushok (Staind) signature guitar
Well, I believe his guitars are more than 27 inch, like 30 or 31.
If they are that long I would buy one in a heartbeat, because 27 inch really isn't that long for a baritone.
Those old Fender...

So realy... whats the deal?
Well the neck of an UV and Rg7621 is definately different. The Rg made my fingers hurt because its so thin. Well it also could be the fretwire, because the RG frets are much higher than the UV's. The...

Found a lo-pro sabre...currently produced
An S 7-string with a hardtail would be nice. But I think the curved top would make a standard hard tail impossible. So they would have to use a stop tailpiece or a tune-o-matic 7-string bridge. I've...

Okay I have narrowed it down to these guitars-HELP
I'd go for the ESP SRC because it has a fixed bridge, the neck-thru and an ebony fretboard (like the vwh) and an alder body (also vwh).

Rage Against The Machine
It is an old custom job, where only the body remained. The neck is one of those do it yourself parts, and I believe it has an original floyd rose.

Ibanez 7-strings in 2001
All 7620 have the new 7's, even the old ones. Earlier models didn't have the bubinga strips, The models since 2000 or 1999 have them.

They look pretty decent, I would buy one if they where for sale in Belgium. The neck-thru is very tempting. I would take one fully mahogany with a fixed bridge, maybe with a walnut top.
