Thanks for the replies. Yep it does look similar to the Ibanez V5 but not quite the same.

I've measured the dc resistance and its coming in at 7.88, does that help?

The neck does have a slight back bow which needs tweaking, just got to get the correct size truss rod wrench through the post.

Yep the problem is that it's a neck thru guitar. Lovely to play but no adjustment which is a pain!

So I'm guessing recessing is the only option?

I got a used guitar a while ago and I'm having problems with the locking nut. It has a kahler set up so it has the traditional nut combined with a flip lock nut. I've posted a picture below....
