Re: Ibanez 2018 NAMM Speculation Thread

I'm interested in the 24 fret AZ line namely the Martin Miller only because the other ones finishes are uninspiring but I'm assuming a 2.5K price tag. All the prototypes given out to Polphia, Lee...

Re: IBANEZ 2013 (who has the inside scoop)

So far from the leaks so far this looks like a great range of stuff from Ibanez and we've not seen all of it yet maybe. I'm a bit of a badge snob as much as anybody but I'd give the premiums a whirl....

Re: New UV mystery solved?

I'm guessing the new MIJ UV will be white.

Would be awesome if they brought back the green one though.

Would be mind blowing for a production priced swirl...but that's never going to happen....

Re: Help identifying this Ibanez

Sounds like an RT that's had a locking trem fitted from the brief description. there should be fills in whammy route where a vintage style trem screws would have been filled though which would give...

Re: IBANEZ 2013 (who has the inside scoop)

No one has stated the blatantly obvious so I'll do it, the black with pearloid plate looks kinda like a 540PII horn if you ask me.....

Re: JS2400

Looking at the JS2400 I keep thinking of Jeremy Beedle

only UK jemsiters may get that.

I'm stoked that the JS1200 is coming with an edge trem... I may even buy one. Although I have too many...

Re: My new plan!

Swirls involve water and they are fine.

The problem was the chrome sticking to the guitars. I read somewhere that the wood guitars needed a layer of graphite on them before they could be chromed...

Re: My new plan!

Find a used JS1 JS900 or JS1200 and get it chromed you'll save a stack of cash.

Doesn't make any sense to me to buy a beat up 10th and do it up. Then again I wasn't a fan of the whole luthite...

Re: Paul Gilbert - Telesavalas Question

It had a Kahler trem on it. PG used to endorse kahler with Racer X IIRC the locking part was behind the nut if I remember correctly so it might be what is still used as a string tree. One of the guys...

Check the FX loop switch on the back of the Laney isn't in Bypass, I found that it was better in either the side chain or insert mode but can't honestly remember which is series althought it seems...

Dunlop Ultex Jazz III XL

I've been a big fan of the black Jazz III XL for a while now but I like the sound of the ultex material on the smaller Jazz III's, but I just can't go back to that small pick size. I just wanted to...

Re: js + 24 fret neck?

WOW this is the biggest news to happen on a JS since....well ever !

It'll be similar to the cutaway on the 24 fret Saber I guess so not too different. I wouldn't imagine that Satch would want to...

Re: MM JP6 neck Vs Ibanez jem neck

A friend had the Cream and black JP and I did a comparison with my Ultra neck'ed RG2820 a few years ago and the JP was like a flatter version of the Ultra so there was a difference but it was a...

Re: "50 guitars to play before you die"

A better list would be in no particular order. As you may tell I'm not a huge fan of Acoustics

1 US Strat
2 US Tele
3 Gibson Les Paul
4 Flying V
5 Explorer
6 Jem
7 JS
8 RG550

Re: MM JP6 neck Vs Ibanez jem neck

I have a JP6 a few Satches and a Jem7Vwh

I can honestly say that the neck on the EBMM JP6 is awesome and feels to me to be one of the best necks I've ever played. Once you fine tune the trem it...

Re: Ibanez Wants You For The Next PGM Reissue! (vote here)

So...I have the 301, 500 and 10th

the only two I would be interested in is the 300 or the 800 and I don't have a PGM with trem so guess what I voted for. Yup 300

Out of curiosity how many folk...
