seems strange I must agree. So thats down a half step, then low E to C# or something like that correct? kinda like drop D sound.

What does one sale it as? How do you ask 600 dollars for a guitar that MIGHT be something?

The original 1987 RG550 came in four finishes only: Desert Yellow, Road Flare Red, Black, White.

If this statement from an old post is correct then my guitar( as a whole ) can not be a 87

I have a Mohogany bodied 520 project. Which stock PU's? V7 & V8 or QM1 & QM-2 ? Will probably at some point go with a Dimarzio set but for now a good stock set will suffice.
