Sorry - and the JS / Radius body styles and necks are very similar. Especially those first few years of the JS series.

Re: JS1200 Workhorse

Yeah I never use the middle pickup. It's like a foreign object for me. I've considered selling this guitar, but just haven't pulled the trigger. I'm working on a project right now that may push me...

Re: JS1200 Workhorse

Here's my JS1 workhorse. Plays amazing. I've got a Screamin Demon in the bridge and a "boutique" PAF (low dollar, I spent like $50 on it).

Re: Radius

There was a time when I liked the skinny wizard necks. That time stopped about 20 years ago, and I bought an American Tele. I haven't played the 540S since. If I thought I could sell it for decent...

Re: Radius

That's a good move. If I didn't have too any guitars I'd probably try to find one similar to yours and leave it stock. I've got a fully stock 540-S but basically never play it since I don't like the...

Re: JS2 PRM

Yes, he had quoted doing a guitar for me a few years back and it was in that $600 range. I just don't think I can pull the trigger on it. As incredible as this JS1 is - I bet it's only worth like...

Re: JS2 PRM

I have an old Js1 and the paint is pretty rough. Plays fantastic though. Would be a good candidate to get chromed, but I just dont know if I can justify the $$ for it.

Re: Radius

I suspect that's a typo.

S has wizard neck
R had a little fatter neck as does the JS.

S is thin body and R has the "airfoil" like the JS

Re: Low-balling, how low is too low?

Good luck!

Re: Radius

Yes I have a Radius as well. I've seen Rich's posts on the subtle difference to the JS body, but I love both. I mod'd the heck out of my Radius paint and new neck, but love the body.

Re: New (to me) guitar day - Chrome content

Looks nice! How was it chromed? Did the seller give you all the info?

I've considered getting one of mine chromed, but pretty pricey to do that.

Re: Which mini amp?

Great tip, thanks!

I may wind up trying an M9 - would like a pitch shifter too, and it sounds like the ones they put on there are pretty good.

Always gear to consider. :)
