Re: rg7 string

Did you rewire with the original switch or did you buy a strat 5 way.

Box switches are different from the strat 5 ways.

the 7321 uses a box version of the super5way if I remember correctly.

Re: RG series

I'd try to snipe a used 550 as well. About the same price, possibly even lower. And it's a higher quality guitar with a really reliable trem. The EZ trems aren't bad... but reselling one if you don't...

Re: Parker Guitars - Too perfect?

But it's better than them creating a new thread for something that's been answered, or debated to death.

On that note, I don't think I'll pick up a lower end Parker, as one of my buddy's Parker...

Re: RG premium binding?

Maple boards tend to be finished, thats why people say that you can't lemon oil maple boards. And if it's not finished, some people say it's going to yellow the wood a little bit. But does it really...

Re: FS: Ibanez S420WK. w/ HSC, Dimarzio CL/LF

Bump!

I'm okay with trades too!
Things that I would trade for:
EHX Cathedral
a 7 string
a 12 string
tubescreamer (or copies)
whammy pedal
Micro Terror + micro terror cab

Re: Why Ibanez players hate EMG's?

It's not the guitar that makes the player man :D

I mean, Ed Bickert's guitar is an off the wall standard telecaster!

Re: Anyone else need to warm up before they start playing?

If you don't warm up, say hello to horrible injuries.

This doesn't just apply to guitar players. Great musicians have hurt themselves by not warming up. Freddie Hubbard couldn't even hit a proper...

RG7621 stock pickups WAY too hot!

So after running my other guitars through my Mesa 50 Cal+ I find that the 7621's pickups are way too hot for my tastes. So I'd need some suggestions on what I should pickup for pickups :D I'm kinda...

Re: EX vs Wizard's neck

I've never tried JPMs, so I can't tell you much about that. But it's similar to a really thin telecaster neck. Rounded and thin. Unlike the Wizard's flat and thin

Re: EX vs Wizard's neck

They are very very comfortable. The one I used to have just had a bit of tuning issues. Tuners slipped.

Re: newer ibanez block heel necks

It would technically work. The old school joint doesn't work well because it's essentially a 21/2 neck with an overhang. This is simply a full 24fret neck. Meaning it should work with the AANJ neck...

FS: Ibanez S420WK. w/ HSC, Dimarzio CL/LF

Hey Guys.

I have an Ibanez S420 for sale. It's got DiMarzios Liquifire/Crunchlabs on it. It's a player, so some dings here and there. Neck's great. No arm, because I lost it. But I'll throw in...

Re: Dumb Question: How many octaves between Bass & Guitar?

Like ^ said, it's one octave. Unless that the bass is a Vampyre bass. Then I think it's two.

Re: anyone use 4 springs on their OE Trem?

I think I've got 11s or 12s on my 560. 3 springs can't pull the trem down enough for a flat base.

Re: Plugging/filling in old Vol pot holes

if you have the 3 mini toggles, why not just unwire them and leave them in there?
