Re: FS: Custom Ibanez Archtop 7, Prestige/RGA7 Hybrid

Trying to edit. The first two pics aren't right for some reason (though I'd also sell the Cosmo Lo Pro 7) and I forgot to add the price!

Price: $550 shipped and PayPal'd in the continental US.

It plays awesome and looks killer. Last of the great J-Customs IMHO because no vine inlay and no Edge Zero.

Re: Pink Paisley Fabric Finish for 1527M

Re: Pink Paisley Fabric Finish for 1527M

Thanks guys!!!

I may do white covers. Otherwise black. I'm not in love with the black headstock, but if I redo it, it'd be with a plain maple veneer rather than the paisley. Anything more is too...

Re: Ibanez Naming Conventions: What Would They Name This Fictional Model

Sounds awesome!

Maybe RG7-520, which is what they stamped on the necks of the the earliest RG7620 guitars. The RG520 was the only H-H Ibanez RG I can think of from around that time.

I think...

Re: Fabric finish help: spot that didn't stick

Thanks! Yes, I didn't lay enough clear to completely fill the fabric's texture in all places. I'm considering laying down more clear, but I worry about whether it will adhere to the current clear. I...

Re: Fabric finish help: spot that didn't stick

Progress so far. I just shot clear over the Modge Podged fabric, which was not too bright. Literally am running out of clear coat to polish, so I'll probably just call this done and get t back...

Re: Tremsetter vs. Goldo Backbox Shootout?!!

I've seen some on eBay now and again. Floyd Upgrades sells something they call the Black Box that looks similar if not identical.

Re: Fabric finish help: spot that didn't stick

The Modge Podge somewhat filled the texture. After wet sanding with 400 and buffing with 0000 steel wool, it's not too bad. I'm just going to go over it with automotive catalized clear coat and...

Re: Fabric finish help: spot that didn't stick

Thanks guys! Used a sharp razor to cut through the middle of the problem area, which turned out to be larger than I thought. But the super glue stuck it back down and did a pretty good job filling...

Re: Fabric finish help: spot that didn't stick

Thanks! Modge Podge is essentially Elmer's white glue from what I can tell. Super glue sticks to it real well (I've used superglue on top of it already to harden the edges for sanding).

I had...

Re: Fabric finish help: spot that didn't stick

Thanks! I'll give it a try tonight.

When I was wet sanding it last night, the water seemed to "melt" the Modge Podge glue a bit, and I was able to force the area down a bit, but it still doesn't...
