Yeah, it appears mine cuts the highs at about that range as well. But have some scratching going on as well, so something isn't quite right.

Thanks for the diagram! One thing that I found weird is that if I rotated the guitar upside down, so that the pickguard is facing me, the buzz would start to go away.
