Both bought less than two months ago. Looking to swap for virtually any low-medium high output DiMarzios. Other manufacturers fine too. Would especially like:
I recently started building my gear up and I want some pickups in my new guitar. I'm really looking for air norton/tone zone set. If you have any DiMarzios, PM me. I need them. I would LOVE a white set, or zebra but colors don't matter. Thanks.
I have a couple of yellow Dimarzio humbuckers that are in like new condition with boxes and all of their original leads. They include a Air Zone (f-spaced) and an Air Norton. I guess I would sell them for $100/pair, but would like to trade them for a pair of Duncans in same condition if...
Up for sale is a pair of black DiMarzio pickups. The Air Zone is f-spaced and the Air Norton has normal pole spacing. Been sitting around for a while collecting dust as I'm more in to PAF style pickups now, so they gotta go.
They're in fantastic shape (tons of wire left), so I'm selling each...
I'm all but decided that my bridge pickup for my 1990 RG550 will be a Tone Zone (close runner ups include AT-1 and Air Zone).
For my neck I want FAT, and smooth, but not compressed. For example I've used a Liquifire (granted it was in mahogany) and it was too compressed/modern sounding for...
Got a Dimarzio Air Zone, want to do a trade for a Dimarzio Crunch Lab. I'll take it out when someone decides to trade me. (If you have any pickup covers, could I have one or two as well?)
Crappy picture, it's in the silver guitar bridge
Here, I'll toss in some more **** for it...
I'm going to be replacing the pickups in my RG2550Z soon. I'm almost sure I want a Super 3 for the bridge. I already have an X2N and my bro has a D Activator-X before anyone suggests one of those.
Anyways, what pickups has anyone tried in the neck with a Super 3 in the bridge? The Air Zone...
As of late I've been pretty interested in the Dimarzio Air Zone (specifically as a neck pu). I was wondering if anyone here has or had used one in their guitar, any position, and what they thought of it.
Please, share your wise words!
Hey guys, so I hit a wall with a few guitar purchases, so I'm reluctantly purging some pickups out of my stash.
Here is an unused Dimarzio Air Zone, standard spacing. Lead hasn't ever been cut! Great great pickup!
Looking to get $45 shipped
I'm considering buying a SV5470F and replace stock pups with better ones.
I really enjoy DiMarzios and, so far, I was going for a (Air)Norton in neck and Air Zone/Tone zone in bridge configuration -- with a "I haven't made up my mind yet" in the middle position.
After checking the...
Hey guys, so I am selling 2 Dimarzio pickups.
Dimarzio Paf (DP103) F Spaced/ black
This is the Paf, not the Paf Pro. It has around 8 inches of lead, and is in very good condition. It was originally in a nickel cover which I removed, so it has a little more wax around it than usual.
I got crazy for dark pickups. It seems like anything is too bright for me.
I want something really dark in the neck ofmy S320.
As far as I have seen the Air Zone and Norton seem to be the darkest pups for the neck position.
Now I want to know which one is the darkest.
Had my pickups changed in my H-S-H style Pacifica the other day ( it's my favourite guitar so I had it done by a pro as I'm not experienced at soldering and pickup wiring yet.)
He mentioned the pickups were at the right height, but the humbuckers seem rather low to be honest.
I have a Air Norton and a Air Zone.
1. Air Norton: Its black, about 10 inches of lead left, excellent condition- $45 shipped
2. Air Zone: Its creme, about 5-6 inches of lead left, excellent condition- $45 shipped
Set- $90 shipped. Ill include 2 500k pots and a 5way switch with the tip.
Hi, I'm new to this forum but I'm usually a regular over at MLP(mylespaul) forums. Anyways, I'm looking for a set of F-Spaced zebra (black/creme) Dimarzio's so if anyone has them, do PM me. I do have a verified paypal account..
Please do PM...
looking for these in either all white or white/black zebra:
D-Sonic with chrome poles/bar
Must be in working condition and have enough wire for neck installation. Would prefer if they were a set. Would prefer buying 'em stateside.
So I'm really interested in both of these pickups. I know they are both at least partially modeled after the Tone Zone (Love the TZ), but the norton is also part FRED. The Air Zone is supposed to be like the TZ's lil brother.. Lower output... not as modern sounding. I wanna throw one of these...
