This guitar is in very good condition. The only flaw is that there was a slight chip where the backplate meets the body which was fixed by expert luthier Ron Pace in Houston, TX. You can't even notice it especially because of the Thunder Cloud finish.
Neck Material: Hard...
Condition: Very good. Was received with some slight paint cracking under the volume knob. Also, some wood chipped under back tremolo cover. Both were professionally repaired for aesthetics only. It didn't need it. No other blemishes. no dings or scratches.
Color: Thunder Cloud

I'm sad to have to sell this but I need to make room for more guitars so it has to go! My tech modded it with a 3 way toggle switch and Dimarzio pickups, D-Sonic (b) and Chopper (n). It's in great condition apart from some slight wear to the gold hardare and the headstock which...
Well my Caparison Horus is the best guitar I have ever played, but the stock pickups were sorely lacking. When I first got it the craptastic Caparison BHII-R bridge pickup sucked so bad it made the neck pickup seem pretty good. So a few months ago I got a Caparison PH-R pickup (the pickup used...
Thread title is the main point, but heres some detail.
I'm sure that at one point we have all played at least one neck or bridge that made us think 'holy ****'
I'm also equally sure that a lot of people here are swayed on their opinions of neck profiles by the masses. Frankly, there is...
Looking to try out a few new pups. I have an Evo, and it's just not for me. It's a little too screechey. I am looking for a bridge pickup to put in my caparison horus (mahogany body) that will be a bit more aggressive. I'm open to just about anything, so lemme know what you have.
This is kind of a longshot, but I am looking for a PH-R and have been for a while. If anyone sees one come up please let me know. Or if you have one youd like to sell to me that'd be even sweeter!
I am pricing these low for a quick sale: More and higher resolution pics are available on request.
1.) Caparison Horus Snow Cloud in near mint condition (a few pick marks). The pic shows the currently installed Dimarzios but the guitar will ship with the original Caparison pickups (if you want...
I just got a neck with the last four frets scalloped and was very surprised at how much easier it is to bend on those frets than on a regular neck. I always thought that scallop thing on a jem was just for looks, kind of like the monkey grip.
Had one, sold it! Now I can't handle life without, It would nice if it was close to mint but I am not too bothered as long as it ain't well beat up.
I have a few guitars to trade also.
Fender Stratocaster 50th Anniversary(with gold hardware)
Caparison Horus in limited Iris Violet.
I had the chance on this guitar a few weeks back in the UK but the guy was asking quite a bit more than I wanted to pay for it, anyways, it turned up on the Bay and I got it for a great deal :). It is a Caparison Horus in Iris Violet which is in mint condition.
I really like this guitar out of all the models except i cant find one that has a maple board, also do they make them in 25.5 scale?
I know it doesnt come neck through but it would be great
also do they have a custom shop or maybe something similar to carvin where you can ask for what you want?
Here's the deal. I have about $1200. I want to get the best possible 7 for my money, period. I was originally and am still considering a custom Carvin, but I've heard so many bad things about their pickups, and in my mind, one shouldn't have to upgrade the pickups in a "custom" guitar.
in 2008 I will almost certainly be getting a Musicman JP6, probably in mystic dream, with piezo but definitely not with the inlays.
I would also like a mahogany bodied RG type so hopefully will pick up a J custom as well. This will depend on what the winter NAMM throws up though
I am 90% sure...
I can't believe I'm doing this...
Caparison Horus Yellow Sand
Excellent condition. One pencil tip ding that barely dinged the paint. You'd have to squint your eyes to see it. Just a little shave off the paint. Less than 1/4".
Comes with Caparison case, papers and candy.
I was looking for a non Ibanez guitar
I am looking for specifically
maple board, SD pickups, neck thru, FR bridge, 24 frets
I was wanting to get one of those Japanese ESP M-IIs but they are very hard to get for me and much more pricey because of tax and shipping
what pickups/wood would be a good combo for harmonics?
Evo, Evo2, Breed, D-activator, other
Like, I want them to scream (i know amp's play a part in that too)
I want the sound of ultimate suffering, hah
I liking the sound of bad horsie by Vai, which is Breed/basswood?
