Just added this simple lesson video to my Youtube page! I get asked by my students a lot if there are any good tricks to learn what basic chords you can use in every key, so i came up with this simple method to help them out. This isn't a be-all end-all theory Nazi lesson! Just an easy method of...

Hi all, I have this RG750, but whenever I tune it, and the G-chord sounds perfect, I strike a C-chord or other and it's out of tune. When I tune it in C its the other way around. What does this mean?? Thx

Hey guys I hope these exercises will give you new ideas. They're part of my songs. #1- Clean chord progression = 90 bpm #2- Fast cool lick = 180 bpm The golden rule = always play everything with your muscles relaxed.Musicians do strange faces at the stage just to pretend they're feeling...

I'll cut to the chase: My style? Mostly Technical/Melodic Metal. HOWEVER incorporate a lot of dissonant chords (no i don't mean just diminished) into my playing similar to the faceless on their new album or enslaved in monumension days. I'd like something with decent cleans but i'd much prefer...

I have been trying to increase my music theory knowledge, and I can't figure out Flying in a Blue Dream. The first chord is a Csus2#4, which is easy enough -- C D F# G. Those notes all fit nicely into the C Lydian scale. The next chord, however, is where I get confused. It is an Absus2#4...
