Over the last few years Broderick was quickly becoming a...

Dear Tak, I am currently looking to buy a 7 string. but Ibanez, my favorite company, doesnt have any 7 strings I would buy. I dont feel I can play anything other than an Ibanez because they rule so much. I think that you should make a chris broderick signature, they would probably sell out in a...
Not sure if this has ever been brought up but I thought it would be fun. If you had to pick 5 Ibanez guitars that you would just love to have/own what would they be? Doesn't matter if they'll sit in a glass case and price isn't an issue - if you could have 5, ANY 5.....
Rich isn't allowed to...
If someone was playing shows in different countries other than Japan using a J.custom guitar, would this become a problem with an endorsement with Ibanez being that the guitars are not supposed to be sold outside of Japan?
I went to Megadeth yesterday in Paradiso Amsterdam. Great show! First time I saw new Megadeth guitarplayer Chris Broderick. I was surprised to see he's an Ibanez player. And what a great guitar he plays! It's a 7 string purple quilted custom with a reverse headstock. Nice! Loved his playing...
"Back in the day" we had the guys like Satch and Vai, and Nuno and George Lynch, plus guys like Scott Ian from Anthrax and the guys from Metallica and Megadeth.
Who are the guys that the 15 year olds want to grow up to be?
The UK guitar magazine try to convince us it's Trivium and...
Im sorry if this has been talked about but i searched and couldnt find anything. Chris broderick joined Megadeth :D I'm really looking forward to see what they're going to do together. What do you think?
RG1550FM with BareKnuckle pickups ?
hello... (wrong title: its RG1550FM, no 1150)
I just bought a Prestige Ibanez RG-1550FM (2004) and it has bare knuckle pickups.
the seller told my that they are Holydiver model zebra.
what do you know about these bareknuckle pickups?
It kills me to see that none of the very well known guitar virtuosos started their carreers not too long ago. Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert, Greg Howe, Tony Macalpine, Richie Kotzen, Allan Holdsworth, Jimmy Page, Reb Beach.... etc all started 2 or 3 decades ago. IMO the newer guitarists...
Just like the Xiphos 7, there has been a lot of interest over at sevenstring.org about a 7 string RG (mostly people say they want one that is not made from basswood). I'd buy one. It would be the answer to many people at ss.org's prayers, ha ha.
Just a suggestion.
I'm always amazed of the kind of stuff you can come across on YouTube. Thought in sharing this one with you guys.
This guy not only plays two-handed style with such fluency like I've never seen anybody before (does make you wonder whether Satch might have come up with some of his little tunes...
It'sjust a guess...but it looks like it could b a Dino sig 7...got the prestige on the head, as well as his name...and it's got Dino in the 12th fret...It is just a guess...
I am hoping for a xiphos 7 tho :-D
I realise that it's all down to opinion, but I thought it would be interesting to see who fellow Jemsiters think is the best guitarist ever.
My vote is for Steve Vai... ( I think he will be a popular choice:))
What do YOU think?
Was wondering if any reverse 7s exist? I'm guessing they'd just be one off custom jobs for endorsees?
If anyone's seen some pics then please post some links.
I'm seriously thinking of getting such a neck commissioned - I just had a USRG30 fitted with a reverse neck (big thanks to Rich Fay!)...
