This should be fun, usually people show pics of the old gear or something isnt the same or something new was added..
This thread is to show your current gear as it sits right now...

Well, today was New Gear Day for me. I've just bought a couple of pedals off a friend for £60 in total.
One was a Jim Dunlop Cry Baby, the GCB-95 model, the other a Chorus pedal, an ancient thing called a Coron DC-862... never heard of it, but it was made in Japan. Looks like it was...
Okay, I have a Nightwish DVD and I really like the tone on it, and I'm trying ti identify the kind of gear the guitarist is using. I have some fuzzy pics and if anyone could try and identify anything it would be really helpful.
These are DVD screenshots, which as far as I'm aware is fair...
Hey, I was just wondering what set up you all used. I mean, do you like using effects or do you prefer to go straight into the amp?
Personally I prefer no effects, the only thing I use is an EQ pedal as a boost for lead work (only because I can't afford a three-channel amp).
I just added some new songs on soundclick.com, its part of my demo album Rise that is almost done.
Plz feel free to listen to all the songs and tell me your insight.
All done in my home studio in Montreal Canada.
-CAKEWALK recording software
-BOSS gs10 USB TO PC INTERFACE MULTY EFFECT...
Show us,(tell us) what kind of setup of have. Racks, pedals, guitars, or amps.
I am using
Danelectro Metal Fab(great distortion for a 15.00 pedal)
Boss RV-3 (Digital Delay/ Reverb)
Dunlop Original Crybaby
Danelectro Milkshake Chorus
Peavey Heritage Series
I am keen to add a Wah to my gear but really am unsure which way to go. Whats your thoughts. So far I have narrowed it down to these:
- Jimi Hendirx Wah JH1
- Jimi Hendrix Fuzz Wah JH1FW
- Jim Dunlop Original cry baby Wah GCB-95
- Jim Dunlop Original cry baby Wah Pedal
So , what do you think the best wah is. At the moment im considering the morly bad horsie 2 or ibanez wd7 weeping deamon. this is my first wah and i want to get the best one i can. I love Vai's wah tone but im also a big kirk hammett fan.
Lots of people are really into pedals, and the different ways to hook them up. So post a photo of your current pedal board and maybe a brief description of the setup and the sounds.
I'm still trying to put one together but I'll come back and post a pic of what I have so far later today.
What gear are you using mainly? PICS WANTED!!!
I'll go first:
- Guitars: Gibson Les Paul Std plus / RG505 / Jem7Vwh (on the way from Rich)
- Amps: Fender Bassman '66 / Tech21 Trademark
- Pedals (in order): Digitech Whammy / Cry Baby / Boss TU2 / Marshall Guv'nor (english old one) /...
I need your opinion, I've got pretty much every thing I need in my rig for now, but I want to hear your opinion about what is the best way to connect the gear.
I've got a marshall G80RCD (it has an effects loop),
Dunlop Cry baby
and my fender deluxe (soon jem7vwh :D...
My current setup is:
Jim Dunlop Cry Baby Wah
Boss DS-1 (modded)
Boss RV-3 Reverb/Delay
Boss Power supply pedal/effect loop
What do I go for now? I don't need a whammy pedal - I've got a Boss GT-3.
Ideally, I'd like proper compression/limiting... my boss...
I thought we'd do a less controversial topic this time around...
I'd like to hear about your favorite rig setup
What guitar you use, amps, effects..in what order do you like up your effects/pedals...
I think we can learn from each other on this one!!!
