New to the site and I need some direction. When I was younger, I lived with my parents and I had a job at a local Guitar Center. I bought and sold a lot of gear. I went through a vwh back when they had ebony boards, had a mystic jpm6, prestige 1570, and I finally settled in on a EB JPM6 Lava...

I suspect a bunch of us know, met, was in a room with, did work for, gave a lesson to, or jammed with someone notable/famous. I thought it would be fun to have a thread dedicated to the purpose of 'bragging' about it. ;) This could be fun to watch. I'll go first. I know the Fuel guys...

My dad said he's gonna buy me an amp, and i really want a Mesa (or anyother tube). But it'd be for my bedroom so buying a 50w would be useless, what Mesa should i get that i can use for a bedroom and maybe some school talent shows. Price range is about $800. I play and listen to old school...

Gary Hoey will be doing a free clinic at the GC in S. Portland on Friday, the 28th. He's got a show in Portland in the evening. Gary's a great guy (I met him at a show last year) and a phenomenal player (plays Fender though ;)). Highly recommended.
