I have an offer to buy a used Ibanez Roadstar 2 Series for 320$.
1. Is it a good deal?
2. What can you tell me about these guitars?
3. Does these guitars have a good atack and sustain when clean or overdriven?
I have an old Ibanez Roadstar series 2 guitar which i have no idea which model it actually is. As it has been painted over. The serial num is L861154 and it says made in japan under that.
I took the neck off and on the neck it has printed L530. From the pics below can anyone out there...

This is the first mod so far on my Ibanez Roadstar II 1985 that I got for free a half year ago.

I have ordered cream white pickguard material and black pickup covers without holes.
I like the EMG look but...
Looking for an early to mid 80's Ibanez Roadstar II. 83 or 84 a plus. Cosmetically, I don't care what it looks like - just need a straight neck with a good amount of fretwear left. Color doesn't matter. Dings and chips don't matter.
It must have:

I am hell bent on getting me an Ibanez with a neck that has a profile true to the wizard/super wizard dimensions. In one of the other threads i have been informed that J-customs no longer really come with the dimensions that Ibanez advertises on their website. The neck should be 17mm at the...

Hey all, this is my 2nd attempt at posting as my first went into the bit bucket somewhere. I have a 1984 Ibanez Roadstar III RS440 model. It's Deep Purple in color. I've had it about 7 or 8 years now and haven't really played it because the pickups were noisy and scratchy and all around not...
I have to admit that i didn't like Steve Lukather in the past. But now, as i'm growing older :) and out of my shredding phase :) i digg his playing very much. And he's got that big, airy, non-dry sound, at least on newer records i heard.
I'm wondering what amps he uses? Or is his sound that way...
Ibanez Roadstar II, Japanese made, has been upgraded with a cool mirror pickguard, but I am also including the original black one, 2 black strat knobs, and had the back of the neck sanded down to bare wood. In great condition for its age. No major dings or scratches or cracks in the wood. Has...
