I am looking for a low powered tube amp, i live in an apartment so i have to keep it on the low end of watts but i really want a tube amp, I would like one that can get a good shred sound, not too metal distorted and not too bluesy. I am trying to keep it cheap also.
edit: i've heard of this...
Anyone have any suggestions for good low wattage (12-25 watt range) tube amps that are reasonably priced? The amp would be used for playing live gigs in small clubs with a mic in front of the amp. Music styles are blues, rock, classic rock and some old school heavy metal every now and then.

Hi, im currently using marshall mg15cdr. Its quite ****ty isnt it? Im actually looking for a amplifier which can truly "hear" the difference between a plywood guitar and a good one. Im thinking of getting a head and a 4 x 12 cabinet, but its meant for home usage only, will it be alright? Will it...
