Hi i got an ibz rg470 with tone zone in the bridge , ibz inf in the middle and air norton in the neck with 5 way switch, i want to replace the switch for a fender type 3 way switch and eliminate the single coil and use only the humbuckers in a configuration:

The IBZ INF1 (neck) & INF2 (bridge) pick-ups come on the RGT42FX series (neck-thru, fixed bridge, mahogany RGs).
The Duncan Ibanez (neck & bridge) pick-ups come on the SZ series (set-in neck, fixed bridge, mahogany).

So, there's my question: I own a Jem777dy but I looked for a second axe for the live shows, I found an Rg 470f/tbl, rosewood fretboard, flamemaple top, ibz inf and lo-trs for 150 euros in mint condition and...
Own a new S470 and buying another Ibanez, either a S1625FBNT (natural Bubinga) or a S2075FW (honey burl)......
I can get either at the same price, I think that the 1625 was made in Japan & the 2075 Korea...don't know if that is a big deal or not...
I know 3 pickup vs 2 pickup (no single)...
I see that the 2005 'S' series have now got the IBZ INF pickups, the 2004 & older had the PSND pickups....which is the better? or maybe neither....I know, both would need an upgrade for the hearing impaired.
Saw a guy in the UK selling a 'Jem Junior' now i know the 555 has been called that in the US for ever, but in the UK it was only 555 NOT Junior. My old all black '94 555 did not have the 'Jr' on the headstock.
