Hey folks! I was going through my archived recorded stuff and found this: An impro from 2009 on a kinda Satch-like ambiance, with some mistakes and approximations. well, I'm not perfect after all :D My very specific lead tone is achieved mostly thanks to a DP150 double whammy in neck...

Hey! What's up guys!!! :D Been jamming all day, working on a rock album 80-90's style right now. And while I'm here, what the heck, I'll throw in this one-take shred which is the embryo of my latest creature: It's called "threshold" and I sort of stumbled upon it while fiddling around with my...

When playing in, say C, would you use modes that contain all the same as C and center your playing around the new mode key (like A in Aeolian) or do change modes to one that's not diatonic to the original key?

Yo evrby! I was wondering if anybody ever has tried to play different modes on other exotic 7-8 scales??? eg. hungarian major, nepolitan minor etc. Maybe it sound cool cuz I haven't tried it:D

I want to know how people think while they're improvising. You see, cause I've read like tons of stuff on how to improvise but I just don't like the way most people think about it. They say that you're suppose to picture every scale in every key all over the neck at once and for me that just...

Here's a jam I did over a backing of Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb. Now I'm not trying to cover the original song, nor am I trying to copy David Gilmour's style (I'm not very familiar with the song or the band in the first place). What I do try is to take a leaf out of Gilmour's book and play...
