I'm doing cleaning of my 90, but I've been scratching my head on how how to clean the body. I guess the normal damp cloth method is ineffective, and I'm a bit anxious using a moist brush as well.
Any hints on effective and gentle methods?
i feel the pots are dying in the jem. maybe the soldering have loosen, so my question is before i deliver it to a luthier:
what circuits, capasitors and pots are in the jem 90 ham.

The EVO's and Basswood is the perfect sound i wanted. The Ebony fretboard and neck profile, bolt on/body fits my hand perfect!
Now i dont miss my jackson sl1 neck thru:-)

This very nice piece was purchased from Ibanez Rules a while back.
It was a mess before Rich took care if it.
The pickguard was chrome plated and the trem was replaced with a near pefect Edge Lo-Pro.
You can see the pole pieces still have rust on them.

did anyone try to reproduce the very particular design of the jem90ham on a guitar project ? how ibanez industry realised that 3D design, does anyone knows that ? i think it's possible to do it on a naked sanded jem body but i don't...

However, when I finished and removed the book, guess what I found.... Two micro indentations into the edge of the body where the book once...
