I am really intrigued by the JS2400 and other such 24 fret JS models. However I am curious how they "behave" in the seated position.
I quite like how my RG2550 sits, the height of the fretboard, where the bridge is in relation to the picking hand, etc. And I've noticed that there are...
I have a new Eric Johnson Stratocaster. Blue with bound rosewood neck. Also have a 2014 Gibson Les Paul Traditional Pro 2 that has several dings and scratches but overall not terrible. I can trade those two guitars straight up for a brand new JS 2450 MCB (The new BLACK ONE!) New in the...
My configuration is:
Neck: Dimarzio Chopper Stacked Pickup
Bridge: Dimarzio Fred
Both are 4 wire types.
I don't want a switch and no Tone Pot either.
I do have a Volume Pot that has a push-pull.
Now, what I'm looking to do:
Use the Push-Pull to switch on Neck and Bridge...
Hey i was wondering how i could making my bridge a bit more shiny like how i got it new whats the best way to get the corrosion off the pickups? (its not too bad, I live near the water so thats why this happens) Thanks!
Since the strings on my new JS2400 are shot and I'm too lazy to change them right now 8) I recorded the next song on my new album using my new JS24P (both guitars were expertly set up by Rich):
I'm finding that the JS24P feels as good to me...
Just finished the third song:
I used my new JS2400 for this one again (actually used the 24th fret for the first time 8) ). I might use one of my JS1000's on the next song, for a change (and because the strings on the JS2400 are already shot and...
Another song recorded with my new JS2400. This is a first, rough mix:
I was worried the pro track pickup wouldn't sound as good as the paf pro on my JS1000's, but I think it sounds as good or better.
In excellent condition... no signs of wear. I played this guitar for six months, and it plays beautifully. I then got into various custom-made guitars, and now I'm into 8-string models. Comes with Satriani strap and prestige guitar case. This model is no longer made... now in the collector's...
I bought this one used in perfect condition for 1500 shipped.
It sounds and plays EXCELLENT. The action is perfect, the tuning stability is perfect too. Just a really well made guitar. The neck/body are nice and solid.
And I really like the white. It's classy.
It's a good one!!!!!
First post! Just got a JS2400 and I'm really liking it so far!
This is my first JS and my second Ibanez (the first was an early 90's S series that I sold some time ago.)
I paid $1200 for my lightly used JS2400 which is in mint condition. Is that a reasonably good deal?
Could someone tell me...
Selling off a collector item of mine, this guitar hasn't been played for more than a few hours and has been a trophy piece while I went through a huge "Satch" phase. Now I feel a bit guilty as the guitar doesn't get played at all and want to find it a good home. This is the exact model...
Here are a few of my Ibanez collection. I recently found the JS2400 at a pawn shop for a tenth of its worth!!
2012 Ibanez JS 2410
1990 Ibanez Jem 777bk
1991 Ibanez Universe UV77bk
2001 Ibanez 1077xL
1986 Ibanez RS520
Spilled soda liquid on the guitar ( accident of course) and now the volume, tone and switch don't work properly (scratchy, sticky).
So am looking to get new ones and wondering what they are - I do want the high-pass filter back and the coil-tap as well.
The one's I saw were on Rich's site...
An instrumental... called Pure Signal as it's nothing more than a Boss multi-effects going direct into my mixer. Played on an Ibanez JS2400.
Hi Guys, Finally got everything finished on my project and i decided to film my first attempt at playing it jamming over a santana track, link to video is below

I have a Mint condition JS2400 Signed by Joe Satriani. This guitar was used in a lesson with Joe, as well as a jam with the man himself. It has a signed hard shell prestige case as well. The only time this guitar was used was in the lesson and the jam.
Need to part with it sadly and...
