Hey kids! So recently i decided to record cover videos for every song on Mastodon's amazing Leviathan, one of my favorite albums. On all these videos, i'm using my Ibanez RG470 swirl with the Dimarzio Titan in the bridge, which sounds absolutely killer! One of my favorite pickups of all time...

Made this video recently... After I put up my cover video of this song, I had a bunch of people ask for tabs on how to play the super ****ed up hybrid picked middle section. I figured doing a video would be even better. If you're familiar with the song, you already know the section I'm talking...

so i wrote this little section of music a while ago inspired partly by mastodon and vai's music. i'm imagining it to be the "solo" section of a, probably instrumental, song. try to imagine it coming out of a bridge or something. heavy drums and fat bass under it with electric guitars doubling it...
