Since I play mainly heavy rock, I finding myself a bit limited to what songs I know for playing on the Acoustic Guitar. Therefore I'd like to kick start a list of acoustic songs that are easily identifiable for their guitar parts. Any genre is most welcome. I'll kick start off a few I know...

I ordered my JSX a couple months ago, but there was a back order. I got it a week ago. Before I bought it, I took my cabinet, by pedal board and my Prestige 2620 in the the music store to demo the amp. I spent about half hour at different volume levels and all different tone settings. The 120...

Howdy, Would you like it if Joe Satriani formed a band with a lead singer? And then made an album with that band? Like Steve Vai did for Sex & religion? Personally, I think I would like that very much. :) I would be very interesting. Kind regards, Myst

http://news.harmony-central.com/Newp/2006/Gibson-Billie-Joe-Armstrong-Signature-Guitar.html I can't believe they're releasing a Billie Joe Armstrong model. I mean it would be alright if it was at least unique in a way, but there isn't anything different than a regular LP Jr (apart from the...

I've always been a fan of Neal Schon's tone in the 80's. I know he used a lot of Gibsons and I think something called his Schon guitars made by Grover Jackson. What setup did he mainly use though? I know it's not important, but I'm just curious. Thanks in advance! :)

Melissa's Garden at the 3:12 mark his tone and the entry of the distorted guitar is just killer.. the build up to that point your just waiting for it. Lotus feet the first time watching the vid from the netherlands did it to me as well.. Anyone else get chills or feel like there hair is...

I would like to clearly point out that Hendrix, Clapton, Page, Zappa, BB King and Stevie Ray Vaghan etc are the true masters of guitar. I admire people like Satch and Vai but they are really, just good guitar palyers. What I mean is they can play fast and a hold load of techniques, but they have...

Though I've heard of him a lot before, I've been listening to a lot of Journey for the past few months. His playing is awesome, no doubt about it. Out of my top 3 favourite guitarists, he's #3 (after Vai and Metheny of course). :) I'm very interested in getting 'I On U', but alas, we don't get...

Does anyone have tabs for Frampton's 'Lines On My Face' from Frampton Comes Alive? And maybe also Journey's 'Wheel In The Sky'? Thanks in advance. Regards, Imran
