I bought a knockoff JEM body on ****, and I'm interested in having the fret markers done with the Pyramid inlays. Where would I find the paper or decal or whatever to make or install those pyramids?
Can someone here do it for less than $300 (the price of one of the advertisers above)...
(Desert Yellow with the Pyramid Inlays on maple fretboard)
Must be original and in good playable condition and nothing more than paint issues, nicks, dents etc...at least from the front view.
Will consider paying up to US$800 depending on condition.

Okay, im almost done with my JEM project. Heres what ive got, unpainted rear rounted jem body(with AANJ), neck with green logo(no inlays yet), 2 pafpro's green/black, no single coil yet(color decision first), edge pro trem, green knobs, and the other casual jem stuff.
So, what would you guys...
Maybe my head is under a rock, but I haven't seen any discussion about the limited edition RG20051 here.
Only 12 in the UK. Does anyone know about any coming to the US? At 1250 GBP, it's still 2300+ USD.
I've been browsing this forum for awhile now and this is my first post. Thought I'd just put up some pix of my latest creations and see what you all have to say about them. And hey Rikk!, if you see this.
Thought you might like to see a pic of the necks (so far) of my two latest projects:
One is a RG7620 neck that I have just put pyramid inlays in, which will go with a body that I'm waiting...

This was originally a 7421BK that I was utterly bored with so I modofied
that crap out of it. I ended up going with some color changing paint that
shifts from green to blue to purple depending on the angle you're looking at
it. The mods I did were: monkey grip, uv/jem style input jack, went...
Yup, that... its natural, meaning it doesnt have clear on it... reading the explanation on the tech section, i wonder if using steel wool would damage the pyramid inlays... :?:?:?
also, can i use tung oil on the fretboard itself? ive used tung / bore oil it on maple / rosewood...
Heres a hot topic for ya!
A recently got my hands on a early Soloist (pre JEM series), with the full works Seymour Duncan pickups original Floyd Rose (with cut out behind the trem!) thru neck ebony fingerboard MOP sharkfin inlays etc..
However upon picking up my 777VDY I began to notice some...
I am looking for a Ibanez Jem 7PBK. This guitar is all black, has ebony or rosewood fingerboard, pyramid inlays, and has white pickups. I have seen a few but did not have the money to buy one until now. Anyone own this or anything close to it? They came out in the early 90's. Looking to pay...
Has anyone got a 77BRMR yet. I would like one but I am worried about how tough the finish on the body is. The scratch plate on my DBK scratches real easy which I can live with because it can be replaced but I wonder how long the body on the BRMR would stay pristine with regular use.
i found an old rg in a recycler add for 180 - so this is kinda my project jem dealio :-P
i was planning on making pyramid inlays . now if the frets have minimal wear would it be ok for me to pull them out..then put them back in after i put in the inlays and sand down the epoxy? or are they...
Since I've seen a couple people asking this is the best thing I think you'll find.
I forgot who did this, I know he's hiding around here somewhere and if he speaks up, I'll make sure to give him the credit on the page. B)
Just got this beauty this week. Supposedly it is a Herc Fede swirl, and i don't know if this was originally a Jem that was modified, or a completely made custom guitar. I absolutely love the pyramid inlays with the flames around them!!!
This is the best way to start a new year...
I have a jem 7dbk, and im looking to get another jem. The only problem is i cant decide which one, they are all so cool  i cant decide whether i should go with the 7vwh or 777DY or an older FP. then theres the bsb, LNG and MC which are all sweet too. ah if only you could just have em all...
Here's another one out of "the vault" that I didn't think I'd sell anytime soon, but much like my JPM, this UV has sat around for the past 8 months unplayed. Sad, not only because the guitar itself has been ignored, but also sad because it's my only 7-string!
Anyway, I got this guitar as soon...
My UV copy is finished :D . It has a RG7620 neck, which I sanded the black from the front of the headstock, and then replaced the fingerboard with bound birds-eye maple and pyramid inlays in abalone...
