I succesfully removed the metal "sound chip" as per Rich advice in http://www.jemsite.com/forums/f21/remove-metal-sound-chip-edge-pro-161185.html but now I need to install the piezo inserts. It haven't been easy to put them correctly, they tend to enter uneven.
Any tip to make it easier...
i just bought the lr baggs piezos to install it in my edge pro trem. I was wondering if someone could tell me the best way to remove the metal sound chips to replace them with the piezos. Apparently they are glued in.
I bought an RG1550 with cosmo black edge pro trem. The cosmo black finish is in pretty good chape, but the steel sound chips from the lower strings have black marks. I believe is because the sweat applied during palm mutting. Any ideas of how to clean this marks?
