I some questions on the JSX combo and head/cab setups.
1. Is there a huge sound difference between the combo and a head + 4x12 cab?
2. Is the reason for the combo simply convenience of portability?
3. Is the combo just as loud as a head + cab?
Thanks in advance for the help!
Lets hear all the horror stories of your axes first damaging blows.
Mine came from a playful roomate. I asked for my lighter... instead of handing it to me, he decided 80 MPH was an apprioate speed to throw it at me . He hit the jem, I hit the ceiling then threw the first hard thing I could find...
Heres a pic of a small portion of my collection from left to right, RG2550, ESP Mirage, JEM FP, Voyager, Fender Strat, JC 8470F, & UV777. Since JemPlayer55 showed me how to post I figured I'd show a few off.
OK I figured I would list these here before , the big auction in the sky.

i was thinking of modding my tele to take a red/red in the bridge

For those who are interested, it is possible to fit an Edge trem into and Edge III routing without any major modifications. Matter of fact I put some locking studs into my Edge III body and then tested with an Edge trem I have for another project guitar. It fit like a glove with full...
I have gone through many guitars over the last few years but the one that sticks out as feeling the best is strangely enough, the Yamaha Pacifica 112.
I think it’s due to the narrow neck (40mm at the nut). My hands are a bit of a weird shape, sort of big palms and stubby fingers (yes yes I...

First up is a reverse blue-burst body. I'm not sure if it's a Fender or not (if it is, then it's from a Strat Plus), and I'm not sure what type of wood it's made out of (looks to be solid, not plywood) or the type of trem that is on it. I bought this on an impulse because I thought it looked...
Someone is interested in trading their Gibson LP Studio in Fireburst for my Classic 50's Strat plus Behringer X V-Amp. I've decided that I want to have the feel of a Les Paul and a shorter scale. Besides if I don't like, I can always sell it off (Gibbys have some resale value here in Malaysia)...
