Would an Oak Grigsby superswitch work as a direct drop in replacement for the Otax 5 way switch (the guitar in question is HH, RGT220)?
Also, what's the correct size for volume and tone pots - CTS audio log 500k, 6.35 mm diameter / 9,52 mm thread length?

I was looking for a wiring diagram for an RG565 (with the VLX-91 switch) and spent quite a bit of time searching online and came up empty. I spent some time making one and figured i'd share it in case anyone else needs it.
I'm basically trying to replicate Bumblefoot's setup.
I've got a Chopper in the neck and a Tone Zone in the bridge. One Volume. No tone control. I'm looking at wiring them to a 5 way and have these positions:
I bought a Paf Pro/36th Anniversary neck/superswitch combo, and wired them up as per this diagram without problems:
However, after finishing I was getting a hum when I touched the pickup switch or pickups. I resoldered all the grounds, bought a multimeter...
I currently have the stock 5-way switch installed in my Ibanez RG321's. Would it make much difference if I installed a superswitch, as seen in the PGM and Satriani models?
I really want that nice hollow single coil sound in the neck position. But as it is with the stock 5-way switch I can't...
