This is my finished guitar (swirl by Richard Fay: great job!) She has some funny nicknames like toothpaste JEM, Captain America or Liberty JEM. Specs: Basswood body, JEM neck (old style), Ebony fretboard, PUs: DiMarzio Breed, Area58, PAF Pro.
I was looking in the Custom Exotic wood section on the site and notice that alot of the guitars are made of mahogony, but only the backs....? Why? I was thinking about making the entire body out of what the backs of them are made out of. Why do they do this?
