    The Ibanez site has its thickness listed at 18mm at the 1st and 20mm at the 12th; but also says "24-fret PGM301 Prestige neck is 2mm thicker than our superthin Wizard necks." So wouldn't that make it 20mm at the 1st? Cheers.

    Just a thought guys and gals - it's the anniversary of the Jem AND the RG series this year. There's lots of talk of a 20th Jem but what about a 20th RG? I'd certainly buy one if the spec and colours were good :D

    Well, just got my second Jem - a 7DBK and I think it may have the best neck I've played. It's much flatter/thinner than the 777DY neck and since the DY is an '89 I'm not used to the "all-access" neck joint on the DBK. Smokin!!!! 8) I'm not sure, but will probably trade out the Breed pickups...
