Hi ladies and gentlemen!
I've recently tried a lot of several basswood-body RGs, found out, that there are ones, that are little more heavy, above 3,5 kg (7,7 lbs), which sound really good with a chunky low end and howling mids.
So I know, that more weight doesn't automatically means a fatter...
Anybody got a spec sheet?
You see, I'm getting a new guitar that weighs 10 pounds. It's so heavy people complain about it. I'm just wondering if it's heavier than the shiny boat anchor I currently play.
As a foreword, I wish to remind that I'm living in Japan and, therefore, use the names of Japanese models. I assume there are few differences with US guitars.
I wish to buy a new guitar and, having to deal with some recurring back problems, I want a fairly light one.

Hi guys. Currently saving for a J Custom and should be ready to buy soon. I have a question regarding the RG J Customs: What is the balance like? Are any of these guitars neck or body heavy or are they perfectly balanced? Unfortunately I won't be able to try the guitar in person before...
So I am looking for a tube amp that is light weight around $1,000 - 2,000 the problem is the higher the cost the heavier the amp, and I really need a tube amp thats light because usually I go to my friends house to jam and I cant hear myself with my crappy solid-state amp. I dont need something...
