Hey folks at Jemsite,
Just did a Full Video Cover of Yngiwe's Far Beyond the Sun from his debut Rising Force with my JBM100.
I recorded the video simultaneously with 2 cameras and one single live take with the Axe Fx--->Audio interface----> PC.
I'd really appreciate your feedback :mrgreen...
-This is my very first post on Jemsite and a important one at that. Im in a jazz band and my guitar i have been using has become Shmutz. Now i am in the market for a quality Ibanez to replace it that has looks apropriate for this setting, has humbuckers, preferable under $500 and a RG body...
Long time lurker here. I'm mostly interested in selling these, although I am a big fan of Jems and Ibbys :) Looking for a trade for a Jem or something similar (24 frets, HH, etc.). Also looking to contribute to discussions here, so this is not a "sell and run" thread. I'm an avid poster on...
MINT condition with the plastic on the pickguard and back cover plate. Still has warranty card and all papers. Unplayed and will post pics soon. its vintage white with maple neck. Guitar plays perfect and there are no issues whatsoever. I'm asking $1400 or trade for a really good Ibanez or...
So, a little more than two weeks and we have got a new album from the swedish maestro.
I hope that his songwriting is a bit more like his early and mid nineties CD's. I always liked those CD's.
EDIT: Crap, i forgot an E in the name Malmsteen. Mods, can you fix this? Supes!
Up for sale, my Fender Stratocaster Vintage Reissue 1957. One of the better reissues in my opinion. Guitar is modified in the folowing things:
- The rosewood fingerboard was fully scalloped by a pro luthier.
- Pickups were replaced by a new set of Dumarzio Yngwie Malmsteen
I'm in need of some help from those of you who know a lot about Fender. What is the differance between the Yngwie Malmsteen Signature guitars that were made in Japan versus those made in the USA? Or all they all made in Japan? One has recently come to my attention which is made in...
I suspect a bunch of us know, met, was in a room with, did work for, gave a lesson to, or jammed with someone notable/famous. I thought it would be fun to have a thread dedicated to the purpose of 'bragging' about it. ;)
This could be fun to watch.
I'll go first.
I know the Fuel guys...
I started writing this long, long ago but I never finished it. It has been sat on my hard drive for ages, but I figured someone somewhere might benefit from this information. So here it is... incomplete, but probably quite useful? I don't know. Maybe I'll finish it one day.
Hello from Finland!
I was wondering if here are others ibanez owners who have made scallopings to the fretboard?
I did mine two years ago for my S 370, scalloped the whole board with very deep scallopings. It took me long time to get used to it, but now i don't wanna play guitar without...
Are either of these guitars suitable for a beginner?
One of the reasons I am looking at either is that that have quite thin necks.
I already have a Gibson Studio, but the neck is too thick and the guitar is way too heavy
I had someone ask me today what songs I played along with
that helped my playing get better. I'm not talking about what tone
you like or who you like to listen to. I'm talking about who did you
sit and play to for hours & hours in the "woodshed" to develop your style.
Tell who and why you...
A few days ago my uncle (also a guitarist) came by and we had a talk about Marcel Coenen, an amazing dutch guitarist. I said that recently there had been loads of clips of him on youtube. We sat down in my studio and watched like little children to toys to those clips :D
Anyway, here are some...
Lately I've been paying alot of attention to tone, and mostly in Rock guitar. I would really like to see some players you guys enjoy tone wise. I'm gonna list some, and I gotta say, the guy I HATE the most is Brad Gillis, worst guitar player ever, but anyway, here is my List of best tone in...
