first two are the year, second two are the month, then number of guitar you have for all of Ibanez's guitars that month. They had the one number year for 10 years then the 2 started then the 2 and 2 months. Just stops double serial numbers.
2011 serial numbers..
Hey, so I did a very quick search on this and couldn't find anything. I was just wondering if the 2011 serial numbers are different to the earlier serial numbers.. I have a model that was made in either 2011 or 2012 and it seems to be longer i think than what I've seen on the internet. The number is: I110101614. I'm guessing the I stands for the factory (Indonesia), but what about the rest, is there anything else it can tell me? The guitar is a RG350MZ..
